Casual opportunity to enter into the countryside

This is a private short cycling tour in the Hagiwara Town of Hida region. The background that we created Hida E-Bike Tour is huge demand from overseas customers for exploring the non-touristy part especially in the countryside of Japan with an easier way, and the risk of bear attack has been recently increasing in the local area. To approach these 2 matters simultaneously, we explored the town once again to find local hidden gems, and built up the tour contents including tour routes and stories we should share with visitors. The Hagiwara Town is located between 2 major tourist spots: Takayama and Gero, so most people just pass by train and miss the beauty of town such as unspoiled nature and peaceful atmosphere. Once you get off at the Hida-Hagiwara station, you will easily realise how beautiful and cosy it is. During the tour, we have several stops to show you background of town and how people make a living. This is a private tour, so you do not have to hesitate others for asking questions. We are happy to answer to them, even like reality of local area or general issues in the countryside of Japan. It is just 2.5-hours experience, and we provide e-bikes that make much easier to cycle around the hilly area. We can recommend this tour for anyone who just want to see the beauty of Japan's countryside casually. Away from major tourist areas, and why do not you drop at one of the towns in Hida region to get new insights of Japanese culture. *Private tour is offered as described on the rate list below.

"This is definitely a highlight of our trip and a nice balance to our urban days in Tokyo and Kyoto. Between the four of us, we have very different levels of physical fitness but with the E bikes everyone was happy! The scenery is spectacular but most of all Dai was such an incredible guide and answered many of our questions about Japan. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend you book this trip!"

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Whether you're an avid cyclist, a Japanese culture enthusiast, or simply someone in search of beauty and authenticity outside of the traditional big touristy cities, this experience will undoubtedly surpass your expectations. Thank you, Dai, for your hospitality and for a truly unforgettable day and adventure. Mata ne!
